Great Social Environment submitted by Rochelle C. - |Recommended: YesGreat apartments. Amazing Wards. Management is easy to work with. This is seriously one of the best places to be living if you want to make new friends
Decent apartments. Great social life submitted by Brandon V. - |Recommended: YesI have lived in the lowest quality apartment here and an upgraded one. Obviously the upgraded one was in much better condition. But what I enjoy most about living here is the social atmosphere. It is easy to get to know your neighbors and make friends. I have had no large complaints overall as I've lived here the past year.
The property is old, but they've kept it in pretty good shapesubmitted by Jodi L. - |Recommended: YesPeople are pretty social and the wards are good.
Decent apartments close to BYU campussubmitted by Brian M. - |Recommended: YesOverall, my experience at Glenwood has been a positive one. Located about as close to BYU campus while being off-campus housing is a definite plus. Maintenance requests were fulfilled quickly and done well. Obviously, since the apartments have been around for a while, some parts are pretty old and look it.
Nicesubmitted by Jessica M. - |Recommended: YesThe apartments aren't in the best condition, but it is cheap and the people are super awesome.
It is a good place to call home.submitted by Susan D. - |Recommended: YesI would tell them that I love the people. Everybody is so friendly and the ward is great.
Great Social Communitysubmitted by Kaden C. - |Recommended: NoThe apartments themselves are a bit trashy, but its a place to sleep, eat, and bath so I don't complain. Lets just say you are staying in what you pay for. I have the cheapest contract so that says something as well. I have a friend in a more renovated apartment that is actually pretty nice. The social aspect of of glenwood is amazing though. Everyone is super friendly and welcoming I have yet to meet someone who hasn't introduced themselves first
It's a pretty good place to livesubmitted by Alicia B. - |Recommended: YesGlenwood is a pretty good place to live. The wards and people are really great here, I would definitely recommend Glenwood if this is the first time you are moving into an apartment. Parking is kind of crazy at times, and the walls are super thin so you can hear everything the people next to you are doing. But even with those, I would still recommend Glenwood to other people.
Apartments aren't very fancy, but a great communitysubmitted by Eric S. - |Recommended: YesThe community is really great. The apartments are pretty old, but it's a good place to live.
A great place to live if you're a social person submitted by Shanan W. - |Recommended: YesThey aren't as nicely furnished as The Village but they make up for that in their activities and the friendly staff and the social atmosphere. There is always something going on each week and the layout of the apartments make it easy to socialize and meet new people. The staff is friendly and they are always there to help. The Lodge is a great hang out spot now that they have new couches and new table games. I would recommend living here to my friends
It's not as bad as I thought it would besubmitted by Erin M. - |Recommended: YesWhen I was looking at online reviews to decide where I would live, I ruled out Glenwood immediately because all the reviews were terrible. I ended up coming here anyway because nothing else was left. I have actually liked living here, and have had a great experience. I am so glad that they got new internet, because I heard that had been a big problem and it's been great so far. It is old, and kind of musty, and things are always falling apart, but the maintenance has done a great job coming and fixing everything. So I was expecting the worst, and it hasn't been that bad. I have had a good experience overall at Glenwood.

It's good, comfortable living.submitted by Chrisanne H. - |Recommended: YesIt's not the nicest place to live, but it's not bad. And it's really social here.

End of month expenses hurt, but the people are greatsubmitted by Mark P. - |Recommended: YesGlenwood is a great place for the social environment. I make friends here all the time, and they're all pretty cool. The amenities are nice as well, and lately they've been improving or upgrading them. I'm very happy with the internet service as well. It has everything I need to live comfortably while studying at BYU. My biggest complaints are first the end of month charges, and parking. With utilities and internet it comes out to around 320 a month, but sometimes you get slammed with a high electrical bill, or the 35 non-refundable charge for cleaning maintenance service every semester. Parking is impossible, and if you get here late at registration, the permits will be gone, and you will end up having to move your car back and forth between the residential neighborhoods, and the apartments to avoid getting towed or booted.
Clean and easy to live here but you're paying for proximity not quality.submitted by Timothy S. - |Recommended: NoIt's not my first choice for the price. It's close to campus, it has a pool and a hot tub and it's kept clean and well kept. The staff is quick to address concerns and they are friendly and patient. It's easy to manage your bills and they often send reminders. They give free access to the grill, and volleyball pit and it's pretty clean. They aren't too picky on the cleaning checks for your apartment either. However it's got it's downsides. My first week here I parked in the downstairs garage and I got towed. There were no signs to indicate where the bikes should park and there were cars parking where I would have assumed it was so I figured there were less rules for the downstairs. I paid without complaint because it was my mistake however I do have some problems with how it turned out. I didn't get a warning or a boot but it was towed immediately. I never once received an email about it or a phone call I just came down one day to find it gone. For a first semester new college student the 200 fine was a hard pill to swallow. The pool is a nice amenity but it's often closed due to health reasons possibly too much chlorine, but it happens so often it's hard to tell when it will be open. That includes the hot tub. The walls are thin and it's easy to hear your neighbors and it also lets the cold in in the winters. We're far from freezing but it can be uncomfortable at times. I don't expect super nice but I do expect working and sometimes something breaks and they fix it haphazardly. I would go so far to say that at the price I'm paying I expect something to be replaced not glued back on. The beds are hard and not easy to sleep on. All in all I give it about 3 stars, you're paying for proximity to the school not for quality but it's not a bad place to live.
